Things in my house I find extremely chic

Ever since I moved, I have had the total freedom to choose how to decorate my home. I live alone in a studio apartment and I decided to turn it into my safe haven. The main pieces of furniture - the bed, the wardrobe, the sofa - were bought at a thrift store and are perhaps my biggest achievement in my home! But to make the studio cozier and more chic, I added other items that I personally love and think I couldn't live without anymore ⋆｡°✩

First of all, my gramophone! Well, it’s not a real gramophone, but a record player and CD player with Bluetooth too, so you can listen to Spotify, to be clear! I got it on Amazon and, as a lover of vinyl and music, I think it’s one of my favorite purchases. Besides being functional, it’s also a real statement piece. And it’s just really beautiful ♡

Another thing I love in my home is a mirror with Baroque-style decorations, but the one I have is white with very light golden brushstrokes. The color makes it more modern, but with a “whimsy” character. I got mine from Pepco for less than 10 euros!

And then, fluffy white rugs. There are various ones on Amazon, and I think they give my home an almost ethereal atmosphere; it feels like walking on clouds! I placed one in front of the sofa (which has a white cover and white and pink pillows), and one next to the bed. The feeling you get when you step out of bed in the morning is fantastic!

Another item I bought at the thrift store is a wavy, piano-shaped small cabinet. It has small shelves where you can put anything, maybe CDs (the shelves are too small to be a bookcase, unfortunately). It adds a vintage and absolutely chic touch to my studio!

Finally, some air-purifying plants. My favorite is the Spathiphyllum (Peace Lily); it’s quite easy to care for and I think it’s just so cute!

So, these are some of the favorite items that can be found in my home. My genuine advice: do not underestimate thrift stores. You can often find the most beautiful hidden gems!
